Between seasons is by far one of the best times to purchase spikes, especially if you're hesitant to drop a lot of money on spikes because you could grow out of them. A lot of these brands will sell the same spike next year in a different color with maybe some minor upgrades. If you want to make a purchase email me for a 15% off discount code.  Both track and XC spikes are currently on sale ..read more

I thought the State meet went really well and that Track season as a whole went very well, especially for some of our young up and coming runners I really saw turn a corner this season and "get bitten by the running bug." I look forward to what we can accomplish this XC season. You all pushed me to up my game this season and really critically evaluate my philosophy and methods. You can't exactly pull a 180 and make wholesale changes in middle of a competitive season so I am very much looking forward to trying some new things I've learned this year. Enjoy your break, then get ready to put your ..read more

A good article on Science Based Medicine about 5G which despite what some people say looks to be a game changer for things like internet speed and access. I am mainly sharing this because of the really good discussion on risk, hazard, and how we should weigh the risks of new tech. A quick run down on risk vs hazard: a sharks jaw is a hazard for biting off your limb, however, sitting at my desk typing this my RISK of being bitten by a shark is almost 0%(gotta take into account those sharknados).
