Centre Ellie Rattu believes her side can continue to kick-on, after securing back-to-back away wins. Victories over Team Bath and Strathclyde Sirens have pushed Mavericks back to within touching distance of the top four and Rattu believes that it has been the work of her side around their structure that has helped them find their form. “It was really good. We’ve had some really good training weeks focusing on the things that are non-negotiable for us in terms of structure. To have that pay off with a really good scoreline against Sirens was great as well. We’re hoping to build on that over the ..read more

Saracens Mavericks secured big victory on the road, as they continued to show that they are a side on the up this season. After last week's impressive victory on the road against Bath, Mavericks headed north of the border to Glasgow. This hasn't been a happy hunting ground in recent seasons for Camilla Buchanan's side, but they showed no signs of the past playing a part in this one, as they raced out of the blocks. After matching the hosts goal for goal in the opening exchanges, Mavericks cut loose with ball in hand. Superb defensive pressure from Razia Quashie and Vicki Oyesola forced the hos ..read more
