Shannon Tan created history at the 2024 Magical Kenya Ladies Open becoming first Singaporean to win on the Ladies European Tour (LET). The 19-year-old started the day in a share of the lead alongside Italy’s Alessandra Fanali on nine-under-par at Vipingo Ridge. Tan rolled in birdies on holes two, three and five to put herself in pole position before dropping a shot on the sixth.     Retired G.P. Chris Simpson was elected Dunmurry’s first woman President at the club’s annual A.G.M. earlier this month. Chris has been an active and dedicated member of Dunmurry Golf Club for almost 43 years.
