Intimate Kingston Ontario Wedding

Jenika and Jack’s downtown Kingston wedding was relaxed, simple and untraditional, and I loved everything about it! I’ve always had a special affinity for intimate weddings and elopements. In fact when my husband and I got married we chose to have a tiny wedding with only 12 of our closest family members present. I love how intimate weddings allow couples to create a unique celebration that focusses on what’s most important to them. It creates such a romantic fun day without any of the stress that a more traditional wedding often brings. Jenika and Jack planned their wedding while living in he ..read more

Cherryvale Wedding in Prince Edward County

Tess and Chad’s Cherryvale wedding was a quintessentially County wedding. Cherryvale is a picturesque property situated in the heart of Prince Edward County and run by the sweetest family who also operate the property as a working farm. One of my favourite things about photographing weddings in Prince Edward County is all the amazing venues. The vibe is always relaxed, warm hospitality, set amongst beautiful countryside views. I first met Tess almost a year and a half ago for lattes at a local restaurant, where we immediately connected over having both recently moved to Prince Edward County fr ..read more

The Eddie Hotel and Farm, Prince Edward County Wedding

Zoe and Mike’s wedding at The Eddie was everything a Prince Edward County wedding should be. Their Thanksgiving weekend wedding was a relaxed, intimate celebration with close family and friends, surrounded by picturesque scenery. Despite a rainy morning, the weather cleared enough for a dreamy outdoor ceremony overlooking the fields lit with late afternoon sun. The Eddie has tons of beautiful spots for outdoor photos, and we were lucky to find the apple orchards at their peak. We were hoping for some fall colours, which ended up coming late this year, but the colourful fall florals by Prairie ..read more

Prince Edward County Drake Devonshire Wedding

Amy and Shuya’s Drake Devonshire wedding was my first as a Prince Edward County Wedding Photographer after moving here last year. It was exactly the type of wedding I envisioned when deciding to move here! First of all, Amy and Shuya are just the sweetest, kindest couple. I loved their easy-going personalized approach to their wedding day. They opted for a small, early spring brunch wedding with 40 of their closest family and friends. The day featured a waterfront ceremony, three course brunch, and post-wedding sunset photos at the Sandbanks dunes. The Drake Devonshire was the perfect venue to ..read more

Lakefront Cottage Wedding

Kelly and Zeke got married at his parents’ lakefront cottage, and their day was everything I love about weddings! I’ve always loved cottage weddings, and when your backyard has beautiful lake views it’s even better! The entire day felt like hanging out with friends at the cottage on the most idyllic summer day. The vibe was casual and easy going so lots of style and diy touches. The couple and their family put the entire wedding together themselves with help from neighbours and other local residents, and the day turned out beautifully. Kelly and Zeke got married on the back porch overlooking t ..read more

Now that it’s off season and we’re fully settled in after our move to Prince Edward County, I finally have time to share some of my favourites shoots from the last year! First up is this gorgeous bride and groom portrait shoot on the rugged coast of Vancouver Island. Jett and Chris’ wedding in Victoria BC was postponed for a year due to the pandemic and ended up being my first destination wedding after Covid. I’m always happy to shoot Vancouver Island weddings since Victoria is my hometown and I find the scenery there so inspiring. In many ways Jett was basically my ideal client. A creative ol ..read more

Krystina and Andrew’s Sandbanks engagement session was my first shoot in Prince Edward County since moving up here in June! Since couples book wedding photographers pretty far in advance, my year was booked up before we even decided to move. That meant all my 2022 weddings and engagement sessions were still for my Toronto clients. But the scenery in Prince Edward County is so beautiful I was excited to get started shooting here as soon as possible. I was so happy that Krystina and Andrew took me up on my offer to do their engagement session up here, and that they got the spend the weekend enjo ..read more

It’s been a crazy busy year with moving to Prince Edward County in the spring and finishing up my GTA weddings, but I finally made the time to share a new wedding here! Emily and Nick’s Halloween wedding was one of my favorites in the past couple years. Like so many couples, Covid restrictions affected their original wedding date, and the only date left to reschedule their venue happened to be Halloween. They had originally planned for a pretty spring wedding, but I absolutely love how they embraced their Halloween theme in a sophisticated yet fun way. The Details Their wedding planner Michell ..read more

Belcroft Estates and Backyard Micro Wedding

This Belcroft Estates micro wedding with backyard reception is the perfect inspiration for a beautiful, intimate wedding! Weddings this year definitely looked a little different. 2020 was a difficult year for engaged couples, and for the wedding industry as a whole. Many couples postponed their weddings hoping that things would open up by next year. A few even made the hard choice to cancel their wedding celebrations entirely. That’s why I’m extra grateful this year for amazing couples like Kaitlyn and Grant who fully embraced the micro wedding concept. It’s no secret that I was already a fan ..read more

Day After Wedding Shoot on the Coast of Greece | Sharon and Achilleas

Two days after their destination wedding in Greece, Sharon and Achilleas changed back into their wedding clothes, salvaged what was left of the wedding flowers, and met up with me for this beautiful shoot. I’ve never really done day-after photoshoots before, but I think they’re my new favourite thing! Although we could see the ocean from their wedding venue, there just wasn’t time to go off-site on the wedding day, and you don’t go all the way to Greece without getting photos with the stunning landscape! Achilleas gave us a little off-road tour of the coastline that only locals know about. We ..read more
