I feel like this year is flying by! I honest can’t believe October is almost over already. That being said I’m totally ready to start wearing all my jumpers again and feeling extra cosy. I love layering jumpers with shirts as I love having the collar peeking out the top, especially if the shirt has a cute print. They are definitely one of my go to pieces throughout autumn and winter.
I usually like to spend a little more on jumpers and look for good quality ones which are wool or have a high wool blend. One of my favourites is a grey merino wool jumper I picked up a couple of years ago from J ..read more

Every wardrobe should have a few key pieces, especially ones that can be used to transition throughout the year. I’m sharing the five key pieces that I couldn’t be without in my wardrobe.

A brilliant blazer
If you’ve been reading my blog or following my Instagram then you’ll know that I’m a big fan of blazers. I’ve got quite a few in my wardrobe at the moment, with most being black or navy but I also have a couple of green ones to add some colour. I find that throwing on a blazer is a really easy way to give a casual look ..read more

Not so long ago I couldn’t imagine wearing white jeans but I decided to give them a try and I’m so glad I did. White jeans are incredibly versatile, they go with so many different pieces and can be dressed up or down. I love these High Waisted Ridley Jeans from ASOS’s Petite Range as they’re such a flattering fit and a great length – I’m wearing the 28″ length.
I thought I’d share three ways I’ve enjoyed styling my white jeans…
A casual look with white jeans
White jeans are perfect for a casual summer look, especially on the days where it’s not overly warm. I’ve teamed them with a cute ..read more

I feel that accessorise are over looked a little when putting together an outfit but they’re just as important as the rest.
Accessorise don’t have to be super expensive either although I tend to spend a little more if I know it’s something that will:
Work with multiple outfits
That I’ll wear or use a lot
Here’s why I think accessorise are important…
They can add a pop of colour
I love using accessorises to add a pop of colour to an outfit or adding a clashing print. If my outfit is quite monochrome then I love to accessorise by adding a coloured scarf or bag. If you’re looking to add some ..read more

I’m enjoying wearing paler shades of denim at the moment,as I feel it makes outfits more summer-y than a darker denim. I’m also making a lot more use of the clothes that I have rather than running out to constantly buy new clothes. With this look all the pieces have been in my wardrobe a while.
When I first started blogging, I felt that to talk about fashion or to share outfit posts everything had to be brand new. I think this was mainly due to haul posts and videos being extremely popular time. I’ve since realised that this is nonsense and if I love something then I’m going to wear it ..read more

With a wardrobe that was stuffed full of clothes I was forever fearing a scene like the one in Confessions of a Shopaholic where all the clothes come tumbling out the wardrobe. So I decided it was time to have a clear out. Having so much in my wardrobe meant that I often forgot about different pieces and because it was difficult to find things, I often felt like I had nothing to wear and tended to stick to the same outfits.
I thought I share my tips on how to clear out your wardrobe if you’re also fearing an avalanche of clothes every time you open the doors.
Take everything out

For so long I avoided wearing midi skirts, as being short I assumed that they would look ridiculous on me, so always opted for shorter hemlines.
When I was creating a more cohesive wardrobe (you can read my post about how to create a more cohesive wardrobe here) I decided that I could with another black skirt. While browsing through ASOS I came across this gorgeous polka dot midi skirt and I decided to give it ago. I thought, if I tried it and didn’t like it I could always return it.
I was a little unsure when I first tried it on as I wasn’t used to seeing myself in a longer skirt. After styl ..read more

After many mornings of pulling things out my wardrobe only to be left feeling like I had nothing to wear I knew I had to take action. Rather than buying more clothes, to have something to wear or to go with the items I had that didn’t really match anything else I decided to create a more cohesive wardrobe. I was really inspired by some of the accounts I follow on Instagram such as, Anna @somethingwhite, who shares gorgeous images of her capsule wardrobe.
The phrase capsule wardrobe was first coined by a boutique owner in London called Susie Faux in the 1970’s. She used the term to refer to a ..read more

I love a good print! And who doesn’t love florals for summer? If you follow me on Instagram then you might have seen this dress cute Miss Selfridge dress already but today, I wanted to share with you why I’m loving it so much and why I think it’s a great buy (especially for shorter people).

It’s the perfect fit
I find this to be the great length on me, it measures 84cm from the shoulders the hem, meaning that it sits just above the knee on me. I often find that wrap style tops can be quite big and loose fitting meaning that I u ..read more

If you know me then you’ll know that I’m attracted to all things pretty and sparkly. When it comes to jewellery I tend to always pick small, dainty and usually sparkly pieces. I always try to find jewellery that’s relatively timeless, especially if I’m buying a more expensive as I know that I’ll want to wear it again and again.
I thought I’d share some of my favourite places to find pretty dainty pieces. (This post contains affiliate links – read more about them)
