Tucked away on the serene shores of the Liscomb River, Liscombe Lodge provided the perfect backdrop for Anna-Marie and Stefan’s beautiful late September wedding. Surrounded by the vibrant rustic surroundings and babbling creek… scenery that Nova Scotia is known for, this celebration was nothing short of magical.

Let’s face it. Weddings have become even more special this past year and it was 100% the case for Hind and Nick on their big day.
Hind reached out to me October 31 2019 for her wedding day which was originally supposed to be August 8th of 2020. As covid would have it- their wedding had to be moved one more year which fell on a hot humid Friday afternoon in August 2021. Undeterred, they said they were NOT postponing again. OFF to the races..it was wedding day and I couldn’t be more excited!
They both made it clear that they hated photos that were super posed. (don’t we all?) They wanted the day ..read more

The rollercoaster which we will call 2020 was no joke.
And while we all are glad 2020 is over, the rollercoaster is still one that we’re all on until…well who knows when!
For my work- it was a year of loss and continues to be for 2021 and likely 2022. I even called it at the beginning of everything … that while I am horrible at math- I knew it would be at least a 3 year trajectory before I notice any real stabilization. That being said… I’ve cried only once over it because truth be told, I am a realistic person and realistically, everyone who runs their own business eventually will experience ..read more

It really felt like you did but alas…your dear friend is still waiting by their phone…waiting for you. Ok maybe not that much dramatics but you get the point.
This is exactly what I’m going through when it comes to blogging. I thought for SURE I posted Matias and Jills Moncton wedding. I double and tripled checked. But nope. It was all in my head. So here I am, finally doing it because honestly, this wedding needs to be ..read more

Mario and Cindy's love story took them on an unforgettable journey from Toronto to Halifax, where they embarked on a secret elopement. With their furry best friend Rudy in tow, they sought the services of myself, a Halifax elopement photographer to capture their intimate ceremony in the heart of Nova Scotia.
We met at Bar Sofia which would serve two purposes, a central spot for us to officially meet and a perfect photo op where I bought them both champagne to really make it feel like the celebration it was.
Against the picturesque backdrop of Halifax Harbour, Mario and Cindy exchanged vows ..read more

Molly and Dean had a perfect wedding day that started off with going to the Juno Tower in Halifax to capture the men. Yes it was their turn first and they were happy and excited. Dean took some time to himself to open Molly’s card and gift. I have to say- I love seeing the groom get a little emotional. It’s just so endearing!
I had to rush across the bridge to document Molly and her girls getting ready at the Doubletree in Dartmouth. Everyone was in their satin robes and were ready, makeup perfectly done by Selena Marchand . So when I arrived they were anxious to get into their dresses. We dec ..read more
