A one-day workshop, which will give you the skills and knowledge to create your own roman blinds. As well as practical information on measuring and sewing, we will also discuss how to hang the blinds using a roman blind kit with a velcro faced tracking. Due to space and time, you will make a half-metre blind sample, which will show you everything you need to make full size blinds at your leisure.

Come and join Mary on Friday mornings for a social sew. Have you got a project on the go and would like to spend a few hours with others while having some set sewing time? Our environment is set up exclusively for crafting. Set aside time to get something completed . Maybe you just want to be inspired over a cup of coffee along with sewing chat.
These sessions are un-tutored so your own sewing skill is required. But there will always be an opportunity to discuss ideas and problems along with likeminded people who Love to Sew.

A class for absolute beginners and a fantastic course to get you on your way – learn how to thread and operate a sewing machine confidently. Take your samples home with you and have everything you need to refer to in the future. This is great class if you know a little sewing – so long as you can use a machine you will be able to handle this class no problem. We will show you techniques that you will use time and time again. Knowing a few simple techniques will help you go a long way to complete all sorts of projects whether used in craft, dressmaking of furnishings. You will leave with a folder of samples to refer to in the future.

Dressing homes, especially windows can be very expensive in this class you get the chance to make your own sample of a lined curtain that you can use as a working example when making up your proper curtains eventually allowing you to save a small fortune. Please note that due to space and time, you will make a half-meter sample curtain as a reference for future use. Your sample will show everything you need to make full size version curtains at your leisure.

Making hats is great fun and this Newsboy style looks fantastic on all heads. Choose different fabrics according to the season, whether a tweed, Denim, Corduroy or cotton print there is bound to be a style suitable for everyone. Your unique hat will be admired by all.
