A Jewish Wedding Full of Personal Touches at Mt Princeton Hot Springs Resort, Colorado, USA

We love it when a couple crafts a Jewish wedding that’s totally, 100% THEM – which is exactly what today’s duo, Carrie and Eran, did. Carrie and Eran planned their wedding very intentionally, taking note of what spoke to them from other weddings they’d attended and making sure all decisions made were true to them. This led to not only a totally stunning day in the beautiful hot springs of Colorado (right where the pair had gotten engaged!), but also a very personal one full of so many meaningful touches. One we especially love is that, under the chuppah, Carrie and Eran each shared a private ..read more

There’s nothing like an Israeli Jewish wedding – and we’re obsessed with the joyous union of Rebecca, a technical writer, and Nativ, a lawyer, at the stunning waterfront venue Bayit al Hayam. The whole wedding was an ode to Tel Aviv – the city where the couple met and fell in love – and everything about the day really showcased what a very special place it is.  This wedding really has it all – Mediterranean views, fabulous golden light, delectable food, the kind of child party Israeli weddings are known for, and, of course, tons and tons of Jewish joy! It was all captured so perfectly by ..read more

We love a good DIY Jewish wedding – and today’s couple, along with their family and friends, did SUCH a wonderful job putting their personal spin on the day. Lindsey, a data scientist, and Dylan, the co-owner of Bywater Brew Pub, a brewery and restaurant in New Orleans, knew from the start they wanted a relaxed, community-focused wedding where their loved ones could get away from it all for a couple days of laid-back bonding. With that in mind, they opted to wed at Sailfish Point Country Club in Florida, where Lindsey’s mom and stepfather live. Many friends and relatives helped make the day t ..read more

We love it when a couple plans a Jewish wedding that’s totally, 100% THEM – and that’s exactly what today’s duo did. Juliet, who works in human resources at a technology company, and Michael, who runs his financial planning company, combined a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony with so many wonderful personal touches, and we are her for it! One thing we adore is the way Juliet and Michael worked elements not part of a traditional Jewish ceremony into their day, both before and after the chuppah. During their first look pre-chuppah, the pair exchanged private vows, and then after the yichud r ..read more

All imagery by Blake Ezra Photography. This is part 8 of the 8-part Jewish Wedding Traditions Explained series. So far in this Jewish Weddings Explained series, we’ve gone through the entire day from morning to evening, now the real fun begins. Let’s be honest, Jewish weddings are known for their dancing. If there’s one thing that most non-Jewish guests know about a Jewish wedding, it’s that someone is going to be lifted on a chair and there’s going to be some crazy dancing. In fact, we recently photographed a stunning and intimate non-Jewish wedding in the rolling hills of Devon. A couple of ..read more
