RebuildCostASSESSMENT.com’s latest annual rebuild cost infographic, which presents data from more than 29,000 recent rebuild valuations, shows that more than 9 out of every 10 buildings in the UK are currently insured for the wrong amount. The majority, 81%, are underinsured, while 14% are overinsured. On average, buildings are covered for just 63% of what they should be. The UK experienced record-breaking temperatures in June 2023, surpassing historical data dating back to 1884. These unprecedented heatwaves present significant challenges for the farming community. Social media, the Police and insurance companies are telling us car theft has increased dramatically for luxury cars, specifically Land Rovers and Range Rovers.
