Can you believe it’s already time to start thinking about Valentine’s Day?! I love making each holiday special- it doesn’t take much to make it magical and fun for the kids. And for us! ;) I’ll add a little heart banner on the wall, some fun decorations for the holiday, we’ll read Valentine’s inspired books...

We absolutely LOVE our Lumebox Red light therapy device, so much so that I need to dedicate an entire blog post to it! We literally reach for it time and time again. Feeling sluggish? Have any aches and pains? Woke up with a crook in my neck (hello, 30’s! lol). When our 4 year old...

It’s that time of the year once again! The start of a new school year! Although we homeschool year-round, we keep some wiggle room for “life” as I like to say, you know, sickness, vacations, “blah” days/weeks… so it all works out great and we don’t feel like we’re behind or needing to “catch up”...

I’m back here today sharing one of my favorite things: BOOKS! This is a collection of our favorite “Easy Reader” books for kids, the most beloved ones that bring joy and laughter, and that the kids (and adults!) reach for time and time again. It’s no secret that we love to read in our family, we always have a read aloud (or two!) at bedtime, and you will find multiple book stacks compiled throughout our home. Just the way we like it! I tend to lean toward classic books that are going to be gentle and have stood the test of time. We love a good “old book” but more than that, something to nouri ..read more

How to Start Homeschooling
I get so many messages from sweet fellow mamas saying I’ve inspired them to homeschool, but they have no clue where to begin. So I figured this would be something helpful to put into the world, just some of my personal story and experience, and my tips on how to start homeschooling.
