  Polioencephalomalacia, or PEM, is a neurological disease common in goats, sheep, and other ruminants. The disease leads to cerebral disfunction and can produce symptoms such as blindness, incoordination, seizures, and many more. This morning the Edwards Foundation received a very generous check from the ENT Credit Union presented in person by the bank manager Christian and his assistant Jordan. Not only did Christian and Jordan bring in a donation, they stayed and shoveled sh!t.                        The Suri llama her name is Roo, came around to get a special treat from Christian. Hercules's Vet Visit

  Doctor Lemus from Littleton Equine Center and her assistant came out to check on the progress of Hercules's hurt eye and determined that he has lost site in that eye and he is not in pain. His treatment this time will be 30 days of daily ointment at which time the vet will come back and revaluate. We will keep you posted. Consider coming to visit him, he loves attention ..read more
