Carwow‘s online daily auctions saw significant growth during Q1 of 2024, including a 48% rise in the number of dealers bidding and a 44% increase in the number of dealers buying. Dealer profitability was also aided by lower buyer fees. Average sale price on Carwow auctions in Q1 were below CAP Clean for the fourth consecutive quarter. Connected transportation solutions company Geotab says two-thirds of vehicles operated by private and public sector organisations in the UK are ready to go electric. The ‘Taking Charge: On the Road to an EV Future’ report analysed driver data from 1.3 million vehicles across seven countries over 12 months.
