Honestly I’m not sure if I did the right thing. It’s been about 5 hours since this happened: I found a baby raccoon on the side of a single track mountain bike trail. Across the trail was a tree with a hole in it, and there was residue pushed out of the hole, like an animal was making a nest in there. This raccoon could barely move and couldn’t even open its eyes! Hello I found a newborn baby rat, it’s mother and siblings did not make it. I have the baby in his original nest in a box on a sleeping pad on low. Is this warm enough? I got it some goat milk formula and have been attempting to feed it with a paint brush. It will not eat. It’s so small I don’t think it’s ever even ate before and not sure if it knows how? And I definitely don’t know what I’m doing so any advice at all is helpful. I took a pause and am trying to get it warm again before I attempt to feed it again. We found this little baby chickadee in the road. We couldn’t find a nest and as it is about to storm, took it home. We are wondering what we should do with it? My family has been given this little guy (a school guard took the baby owl from kids) to rescue. They are in Central Asia. The baby is about 3” from head to tail. One of its wings is badly damaged - a piece of muscles is ripped out and exposing a bone. Bones appear to be intact. The family bandaged the wound with an antibiotic ointment. The baby does not ask for food. They keeping the owl at home in a warm place. There are no wild life rescue centers around. Hello everyone I’ve been feeding a colony of cats strays I’m working on getting them fixed waiting on some vouchers to come. These animals are pitiful and sweet I’m trying to help them people are so cruel and heartless these animals didn’t ask to be stays. Im from West Virginia we have vary little places here that’s for animals all the shelters are full and they are code red and that means they aren’t taking any animals in at all. Hi all! I’m South Carolina and this little guy started clicking his beak at us as we were going by. He doesn’t appear hurt but he would let us get pretty close to him without getting too nervous. Looks like he maybe has some feathers coming in but he doesn’t look like he can fly yet. Just wanted to see if anyone had any idea what to do for him. Do I call a wildlife rescue center or just let him be? For context, this is on a bike path that is pretty wooded but there is a pond about 30 feet away that has alligators in it.
