The Friend Was Lowkey Cool Does anyone remember the Friend? Guilty pleasure. Do yall remember in the friend how they literally every single month ,each copy in the friend without fail there was a kid that was always getting stuck in a snowstorm? I went to an LDS church for the first time last weekend. The missionaries texted me and asked me if I liked the service. I said I had a decent experience and that I met some nice people. How does the ministering "program" work since doing away with "visiting teaching" whatever the men one was. I Cant think of the name of it right now... I recently joined the LDS church this year and I’m a divorced single mom 26 with an 8y/o daughter. The missionaries taught us of course. One of the missonaries told the whole church he loved me and my daughter during his talk. He is always acting anxious around me like he has a crush. He compliments me all the time, comes to sit by me during church. I continue to brush him off and stay professional because he’s 19 y/o! I recently met some missionaries through video call because I felt too intimidated to meet in person. Well the video call was a horrible first impression. They were kinda rude. So I quickly ended the call. I waited a few weeks and decided to try again. But this time I didn’t contact the missionaries. I just attended a service. I noticed almost every Mormon on Instagram edits their photos the same. High saturation, some sort of filter, deep contrast, dress all very similar. Stand out statement shoes or jacket. Hair is always done the same or just well put together. I am not Mormon but I will say even though Mormons live a very strict lifestyle and have to cover up - they do have good sense of fashion.
