The Collect
Almighty Father, whose dear Son, on the night before he suffered, instituted the Sacrament of his Body and Blood: Mercifully grant that we may receive it thankfully in remembrance of Jesus Christ our Lord, who in these holy mysteries gives us a pledge of eternal life; and who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Hello, everyone. I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I'm an Anglo-Catholic, currently living in a European country beyond the reach of the Anglican Communion. Whenever I revisit the States, I attend Episcopal services. Occasionally, I'll go down a rabbit hole on the Continuing Anglican movements.
Now, regardless of your position on Continuing Anglicanism, objectively, some of this stuff is a bit unhinged. Case in point, tonight I stumbled on the "Traditional Anglican Church of America," and this church in particular, Saint Patrick's Anglican Church in Perkasie, PA. Take a look at this ..read more

Hi, I’m still quite new to my Anglican Church but excited for Good Friday. I know it will be different everywhere but I was wondering what to expect on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
I will ask my church too, but wondering what other people’s experiences are too!
Thanks :)

The Collect
Lord God, whose blessed Son our Savior gave his body to be whipped and his face to be spit upon: Give us grace to accept joyfully the sufferings of the present time, confident of the glory that shall be revealed; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Let us remember those who have requested our prayers:
O Father of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time of need: we humbly beseech you to behold, visit, and relieve your sick servant Eva, for whom our prayers are desired. Look upon h ..read more

I don't mind whether they are old or new, so long as the production quality and acting are good. They could be about the death and resurrection of Christ directly, or otherwise connected to Easter in some way.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Everyone!
I (22F) attend a CofE church which is very casual- think electric guitars, drum sets, hillsong music etc., but over the last few months I've been really called to start veiling. I've started wearing those triangle headscarfs which are fashionable these days and headbands, but I recently purchased a cheap lace veil off of amazon and have been wearing it in my personal prayer life and it really makes me feel closer to God (idk why). I really want to wear it or a higher coverage head covering to church but I know I will look super out of place due to the kind of church I go to (I fe ..read more
