I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this. I have moved to Munich, Germany, in the last eight years. The move was based on a recommendation from my friends in Argentina. We live in Scandinavia since 2 years, and although we were told of the very good healthcare setup, we find it suboptimal. The reason being we have now witnessed many situations around us where the doctors just asked to take paracetamol for a normal fever, and weeks went by with the person getting worse, and finally they say things like "Ok, we think it's Pneumonia so please get him hospitalized", "Please call emergency to take your child for examination " etc. to such an extent that we know of a case where a person almost died because he was living alone, kept calling his GP and they didn't b ..read more

Hey question I’m moving to Saudi in a few months and we want to bring our cat. The instructions on the Saudi embassy website are confusing and no one answers the phone at the embassy in Washington. Has anyone brought their cat before? The website says we need to get our cats vet report authenticated by the US State department, but everyone one else says the us dept of agriculture needs to authenticate it, which is the standard process for every other country. So, I'm an only child of a single mother. She's remarried now to a man who's older and not the healthiest, he has kids in the area. I've just gotten an opportunity to relocate to Australia of all places. About as far away as I could go. I want to take it, my mother and I are close but there's also been unhealthy patterns, enmeshment and stuff that hasn't been great.
