Does anyone else think listening to the news in the morning satisfies your inner child?

Sorry if this has been posted a million times. Growing up every morning my parents had the news on full blast while we were all getting ready for work and school. I feel like that morning dose of corporate media propaganda makes me feel warm and at peace. submitted by /u/Old_Hamster_4218 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Do any of you feel like if you died there's no one that could take care of your children because of how terrible your parents and your spouse's parents are?

My wife is an only child. I have siblings that are either crazy conservative Trump supporters or addicts (alcohol). We have to go to the edge of the family tree before we found someone who might be decent to our children if something terrible were to happen to us. And even then, everyone is an Evangelical in our family and we're not religious. I guess I just have to hope that we don't die. submitted by /u/Normal-Cow-9784 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I just thought by now, I’d find a calling, something that I would really want to do for a job. But I’m just here treading water, going through the motions everyday and not really liking my job. I’ve been thinking about this more lately because after recently being diagnosed with adhd, I’m medicated and just feel like I was cheated by not having the help or knowledge when I was younger to get this in check. Now that I’m able to think and focus I have no idea what I ..read more

Flare jeans were the millennial stereotype, not skinny jeans.

I was in middle and high school during the late 90s/early 2000s and clearly remember flare jeans being in style. Why is it that millennials are stereotyped to wear skinny jeans? submitted by /u/PunkyPicc [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

It's almost as if we grew up with the peak times of comedy movies, before they completely disappeared in the 2010s and replaced by the MCU
