In a world of fast fashion, ethics are regularly compromised. If you don't feel that fashion and ethics should be at odds with each other, then this could be the place for you.

Hello,
Having recently launched a responsible swimwear brand, based in France, I am trying to be as transparent as possible with the sustainability aspect of it. As it's still new, I would appreciate any feedback on things you wish were there and I'll try to address them in future blog posts or pages.
We're still quite small with a timeless/minimalistic look, if that's your style. At the moment, we're only offering XS-XL due to our production capacity, and cost implications. We hope to be more inclusive as we grow.

Does anyone recommend brands for quality women's underwear? Or brands for seamless ones?

I am looking to buy a nice dress like this that will last me a long time and isn’t fast fashion or unethical. I have a budget of roughly £100 and I am based in the UK, am a size S/8 and would really appreciate some help as looking online / at secondhand places really hasn’t helped.

About a month ago I talked about a shopping app for sustainable and ethical brands that my buddy and I are building (linked above). Our initial time frame was the launch on Earth Day which is April 22 (Monday), however, we ran into a slight hurdle - one that would've affected the smoothness and ease of your experience. For that reason, we decided to push it back right to the last day of earth week April 27th (Saturday) to give us ample time to overcome this bump and launch something you will enjoy.

A vintage resale store near me is having a huge fast fashion sale for earth day. They have these large bins of fast fashion clothing, and each piece is either $5 or $3. I was bothered by the high price at first, but then I thought maybe this could be to deter people from buying large amounts of them and potentially being wasteful.
I wanted to hear y'alls thoughts/opinions on this. What is the best way to deal with all of the waste donated to resale shops? I am seeing more and more people outspoken about the wasteful and unethical nature of fast fashion, and many sharing ways to recycle cl ..read more

Hey guys, looking to see if there are any bigger busted shoppers here who have tried Boody's "full bust" bras? Currently there are two - the "full bust wireless" bra, and the new "full bust wireless Racerback" bra.
These are the only options for anyone bigger than a D/DD I think, so wanting to know if they're actually any good (ie if they last well, are supportive and look fine under clothes).

Dear all,
When I joined this sub I really expected to see discussion about how to clothe yourself ethically.
While I understand that ethical brands are a step-up from fast fashion, ethical fashion, in my view, mostly means not producing any new raw materials.
I keep seeing posts about ethical brands and ethical dupes. This is still mainly about consuming new clothes and not about rethinking clothing.
In the far future, we might be needing to consume new (hopefully ethical) clothing, but for now, can't we focus on using the clothing we have? By clothing swaps, thrifting or upcycling?
I would l ..read more
