Last Friday, I was walking home northbound after getting off the bus on 3rd and Bell. I decided to take a detour and hit up Macrina Bakery for some blueberry scones. On my way to the bakery, some creep (chubby, short Hispanic/Latino guy, not homeless) tried approaching me, and I did my usual resting bitch face stare. He muttered something and walked off. After getting my scone at the bakery, I started walking northbound again on 1st and that same man approached me. Seattle Erotic Art Festival tickets selling out faster than last year

If you haven't heard, general admission and VIP passes for Saturday have already sold out. If you are thinking of attending, I'd say that you need to get your tickets now. If you had your heart set on Saturday (best day in my opinion) you still have the option to volunteer a quick shift (2 hours). I have been volunteering for this event for years and I am glad to see it getting more and more popular. submitted by /u/cistacea [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Seen walking to work today. Massive amount of water coming from a pipe near the top of this building onto the sidewalk. I called 911 who directed me to the Fire Dept. Station is only a block away and fire truck came within a minute. Several firefighters entered the building but I couldn’t stay to see how it turned out. Definitely didn’t seem normal. Anyone know what this was? South side of E. Pine between 12th & 13th Ave E. submitted by /u/brewstermc [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

New to Seattle - are there Arcades that have Japanese games?

Hi y'all - I am new to seattle as of 2 weeks ago and one hobby I have always enjoyed was going to arcades and playing rhythm games, some FGC titles in Japanese style cabs and Initial D/Wangan Midnight - is there a spot like that in Seattle? I know Round 1 is somewhat the closest thing, but its a bit far south from where I am at - just curious if anyone had any recommendations. thank you! submitted by /u/backalleyracer [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
