It seems like so many people are dying lately that aren't my close personal friends, but nevertheless are individuals who I think are awesome and have made an impactful impression on me. It's also usually the case that no cause of death is mentioned. Not just initially, but later. I'm not about to go asking around as it's obviously a sensitive topic (or so it would seem). A former Portland Fire & Rescue executive who ran for a seat in Portland’s City Council District 3 has been tapped as Dan Ryan’s new chief of staff.
