A Sephora store appears to be coming to Ballard Blocks 2. According to the Ballard Blocks site plan, the international cosmetics store will be opening a new location in the corner retail space at 14th Ave NW and NW 46th St. Sephora is currently hiring for a number of positions at the soon-to-open Ballard store. This will be their fourth Seattle location; there’s one store at the U-Village, one in South Lake Union, and another downtown. Martial Arts Instructor Jaron Johnson is having outdoor training on self-defense near Northgate Saturday, Nov 14th. 10am – 12pm. The cost is $15. but if you mention “Wedgwoodview”, he will not charge you. He teaches with a different style of self-defense. From the District: Based on forecasts from the National Weather Service and our partners at the City of Seattle, there is a high chance of significant snow and icy road conditions on Fri., Feb. 8 and Sat., Feb. 9. The NE 70th St Crossing Improvement design has been updated to remove the parking option between Roosevelt Way NE and 12th Ave NE, to compensate for the narrowness of the street.
