GRIGGS CO., N.D. (KVRR) — Two people face charges after a rollover crash in Griggs County, one mile south of Hannaford, North Dakota. Highway Patrol says 44-year-old Jesse Pierce of Napoleon drove off of Highway 1 around 1 a.m. The pickup overturned and landed on the passenger side. Pierce and his passenger, 54-year-old Tasha Courtade of Napoleon, were taken to Cooperstown to be treated for minor injuries. Pierce was charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test while Courtade faces charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The crash remains under investigation. Memorial Auditorium hosting three “Young People’s Concerts” performed by the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra. For many of these kids, it’s their first experience hearing a live symphony orchestra. During last week’s city commission meeting, Commissioner Arlette Preston asked the police chief and city attorney to research what would be required to enforce the laws against illegally altered vehicles.
