Highlights There was a boost in inventory levels in January as sellers brought 3,414 fresh listings to the market, 17% more than last January and nearly twice as many as in December 2023. Buyer activity in January showed an uptick with 3,271 contracts executed on homes, 6% more than last year and 42% more than last month. Highlights: High mortgage rates and elevated home prices continue to impact the Denver metro housing market. The median price of a home increased by 2%, $580,000 total. There were 6% fewer closings this October when compared to last year. Year to date, home sales in the Denver Metro area are down 19% from last year.
