The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for portions of Western Washington through 7 p. m. Thursday as unstable air sweeps through the area from a weather system. Areas from Everett northward and along the central Washington coast could see southerly winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of up to 50 mph. ILWACO, Wash. -- The first tornado to strike Pacific County in nearly 30 years was reported on Friday near Ilwaco, according to the National Weather Service. The tornado touched down just after 8 p. m. near Redwing Way north of the Port of Ilwaco Airport.
