Authorities Monday publicly identified a man who was fatally stabbed over the weekend during a fight with another man at a Redwood Village-area gas station. Patrol officers responding to a report of an assault at about 1:15 p.m. Saturday arrived to find Damien Garcia, 33, suffering from at least one stab wound to the torso at the business in the 5900 block of University Avenue, according to the San Diego Police Department.
