Any Sprinter owners out there have any specific recommendations on retractable sun shades for the front windshield? (The ones that accordion retract into the columns). Do they work as well as the traditional reflective ones? submitted by /u/will1003 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

For van dwellers with fiberglass high tops.... How much did you worry about getting rid of ALL the fiberglass dust when cutting/building?

Have an e250 extended high top and during the build I've had to cut quite a bit of fiber glass. My hightop was double shelled when I bought it (outer shell and inner shell with insulation in between). I cut out the inner shell and created a shit ton of fiberglass dust. I've already spent hours cleaning the inside multiple times and I've got rid of the majority of the dust, but a bit remains in random places. Is it ok to have a small amount of fiberglass dust around the van? I'll probably be covering up most of these spots with flooring, walls, ect. submitted by /u/-_43_- [visit reddit] [comm ..read more

I dont like having a platform under the mattress because I want to be able to sit up. however, I'm considering making like a storage cabinet down one side of the bed, and just sleep on the other side. I'm traveling with my dog (he's with me 24/7 ex ..read more
