Kia ora from NZ! Thinking of organising a trip for me and some mates to cycle from Berlin to Amsterdam, for my 40th at the end of July. Any advice on routes, accomodation etc? Thanks and happy peddling! ???

1328km total (about 200km by train after falling sick and getting injured). 22 days riding total and many lessons learnt. Will do an in depth log with more photos if there's any interest. The route was basically Tokaido from Tokyo to Osaka, through Awaji, did half of the Shikoku pilgrimage (temple 1-44), up north through the Shimanami Kaido, and then finished up in Hiroshima

I’m interested in doing this route this year and would love to hear from anyone who’s completed it already. Tips, and things I should absolutely not miss!

Hey all, I just recently bought a nice bicycle and am interested in getting into long distance touring. Where should I start? I'm trying to visit Chicago and currently live in Philly and was thinking maybe I could just ride my bike there. Obviously it's a long way to go my first time. Is this unrealistic to think I could pull this off? I don't know much about bicycle maintenance yet. I am in good shape and work out regularly but have not built up good endurance on my bike yet. What supplies would I need? Is a sleeping bag a must?
Thanks in advance!

I’m planning to ride from Washington State to San Francisco, and was wondering what the majority of riding is like along the coast. Is it mostly riding on the shoulder of busy roads, or are there developed bike lanes and quieter roads? I’m from the Upper East Coast and im accustomed to long stretches of dirt roads and relatively non-busy roads.
I would love to hear any other tips or advice if you have done this before!

Has anyone used Cyclando for an organized tour with bicycle or ebike rental? They're based out of Italy but organize tours across Europe. (Website is cyclando.com, but reviews are difficult to find)

I am looking to cycle in the Dolomites for about a week this summer. Looking for a tour that includes bike rental, hotels, some meals, routes, luggage transfer, etc. The two I've been eyeing (Trek Travel and Ciclismo Classico) are around $5K=$6K for a single traveler. Wondering if I'm missing other good full service companies?
Also, might there be a significantly cheaper way of doing this if I make my own hotel reservations, bike rental, arrange for luggage transfer, etc.?
Thanks!

I bought the trailer off of Facebook marketplace. It was never used. It was already assembled. I just have a question about the connection. It’s articulation. I’m assuming is normal, but I just wanted to confirm with you guys before I take it out.

Me and my brothers are going on a 4 day bicycle camping tour of Holland in mid June, we would like your input and ideas, we're from the UK and it's our first time cycling in this region so would like some help.
Day 1 Purple Day 2 Green Day 3 Yellow Day 4 Orange (We'll get the train from Gouda/Rotterdam to Hook of Holland)
We have 2 routes and and would like advice on which would be better and how they can be improved, sights to see along the route and worth diverting for, towns to add/remove, etc. Thanks ?
