Roberta Jean “Bobbie” Colquitt, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2024, having lived a long and happy life. Born October 15, 1927, in Riverside, California, Bobbie graduated from Riverside Poly High School in June 1945. Following graduation, she worked in the Customer Billing Department at the Riverside City Gas and Electric Company. On May 26, 1951, Bobbie began her 72-plus-year marriage to Sidney B. ‘Sid’ Colquitt. Nineteen-year-old hoopster Faith Brinkman has lived a variety of experiences on the court in the last few years. She was a bona fide standout at Classical Academy and the acknowledged leader of a team that captured a CIF championship. Our devoted husband and father, John Samuel Bojorquez (77) lost his courageous battle with cancer on March 21, 2024, at his home in Valley Center, CA while surrounded by his family. An Escondido family was awakened in the middle of the night by an intruder waving a machete and threatening to kill everyone inside. Veteran Dave Geary and his loving family members who are helping him through his recovery from a freak motorcycle accident. Escondido veteran Dave Geary is receiving help from his community after he was knocked off of his motorcycle by strong winds last month. According to the fundraiser, Geary has a long road to recovery ahead, and will need help with related expenses. At the pier in Santa Monica, the water receded, and a million fish were flopping on the no longer there, ocean floor. Looking up at the sky, a shadow blanketed the sun.
