Homeless registered sex offender arrested for possession of child pornography

On March 20 at approximately 2:50 a.m., officers from the El Cajon Police Department arrested a registered sex offender for possessing child pornography and drugs. The man, who is from Escondido and currently homeless, was identified as 37 year-old Alexander Ingles. Ingles is currently on probation for possessing child pornography and drug sales. Ingles was found sleeping in his vehicle and was contacted for a vehicle code violation.
