The Slovenian meteorological society is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, and there are several events planned to mark this significant milestone. Our first speaker, Árpád Kis, a geophysicist and space scientist at the HUN-REN Institute of Earth Physics and Space Science in Hungary, will cover all the fundamental aspects of a geomagnetic storm and its impact on the Earth environment.
