The Slovenian meteorological society is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, and there are several events planned to mark this significant milestone. One of the most important events on the agenda is the symposium “Meteorological measurements of yesterday, today and future” which is being co-organized with the Slovenian Environment Agency. The call for nominations for the EMS Young Scientist Award 2024 is open until 21 April 2024. This award is given to an individual in recognition of excellent performance in terms of scientific publications or presentations during the early stage of their scientific career. The Jury, consisting of the presidents of the member societies, the members of the EMS Council, and the EMS President, is now voting. 206 photos have been selected for the gallery – the public voting is open now.
