Since the main characters in my new book A Champion’s Heart are breeders of Arabian Horses, I thought I’d post some facts about this fabulous breed.
Arabians that are born black will turn white….FALSE. Some Arabian colts are born dark but go through a process called Graying. Their coat actually loses pigment over time and by 6 – 10 years of age they are far more gray than their original color.
Arabians are known as the World’s Oldest Horse Breed.
Arabians are best known for their speed, power and endurance.
Join me next week to find out more about these amazing horses.

Its set on a horse farm in Brooksville, FL. and being a huge horse enthusiast I’ve learned so much about Arabian horses, courtesy of Rosemont Farms. Arabians are one of the most interesting breeds. Come back her over the next few weeks an ..read more

I am on a new journey. One that has taken me down a path I never anticipated traveling…writing screenplays. What I have come to realize, and most of you who are writers worth your salt already know this, is studying your craft is more critical than I paid attention to. Every writer should spend a few hours a week just studying the craft of writing.
Whether you read a book, not for pleasure sake, but to truly learn from another author, take a course, read blog articles (be careful here…Ha), or take the time to study a new aspect of writing, this is a task worth yo ..read more
