Got a set of bars and a stem from a homie in trade for some stuff he needed. They’re brand new but didn’t work with his forks. It’s a CNC stem, really loose going on my forks, but tightens down nicely(at least feels tight and stays straight) but for him it wasn’t the case. I know cnc aluminum is stronger and would be stiffer. I guess his fork had a bit of a crush on it. But am I fine or should I make a lead shim to add a bit of security?
