It was the summer of 1989, we were sitting in the back shop of Power Plus Cycles in Stanton, California, the little ALL BMX shop that Bill Ryan owned and we ran TECH BMX out of, we helped Tommy with Brackens, we helped Billy with Redline, we did custom bikes, it was a true BMXers paradise....Eric Carter was knocking back a few Orchota and Pepsi's, Brian Lopes was showing off his new stereo in his Blazer custom painted by Santini, pretty sure Todd Anderson had the Vans Pro Motion Rig out front and was practicing on the quarterpipe blocking up 7-11's parking, but it was about time to get serious ..read more

Well now that we have had a week to get back home and relax and recharge the batteries we now can finally look back at an amazing Tulsa 2023 USABMX Grand Nationals. It is always a great time at the grands because more often than not you will see a who is who of BMX royalty and a few new faces usually can leave long lasting impressions. With this being the end all season culmination race it was destined to be a statement event for some and a coming out party for others.
Speaking of a coming out a few new faces have popped up in the pits and a nice warm welcome goes out to 2 ladies joining ..read more

Your favorite Supercross riders made the trek out to Rock Hill this past weekend and made the most of last chance points available for the end of the USABMX regular season series with wins all around!
KJ Romero a top 5 nominee for Golden Crank pro of the year had vowed early in the season to bring back the Vet title chase and with another big win on his home turn he has closed the gap to give himself a narrow shot at the title. We aren't math wizards but with a win at grands and a less than stellar showing by current points leader Barry Nobles your newest title holder could very well be KJ ..read more

When it comes to Southern California and BMX a few things are synonymous and most people will mention sun, sand and hopefully the home of Supercross BMX! With the return to national racing occurring this year in the epicenter of BMX riders far and wide ventured out to show support and check out a great new venue.
This national you could tell from the build up was going to be a great event and the marketing was well executed by the different collaborations available. When is the last time that digital billboards and event programs were part of a package deal? G ..read more

Another dual weekend in the books and our minds have been spinning faster than a set of killer buzz hubs on KJ’s Vet Pro ride. That’s right KJ has done it again and shown it wasn’t luck at his home track in Rock Hill and has backed it up snagging another win with a sweet dive in turn 1 after a king drag race that worked out perfectly. Some say the pass was so quick it blew the seat clear off of Nobles ride and he couldn’t even give chase?!?! Chalk up another big W for KJ and he seems to gauge the comp slowly and then make his move when the chips are on the table. Come grands he may be a guy t ..read more

The USABMX national tour rolled into Eugene Oregon and our amateur squad was eager to chase those valuable rankings as the season rolls along. The track talk early was noted as a more jumpers style course which the pacific northwest has always been known for and this year did not let anyone down. With the pro riders gearing up for Nashville this would be an amateur only event which our West coast kids were more than up for the task.
Sequoia Gomolicke would set the tone for her weekend early by picking up a 2nd and 3rd on Friday and remain there all weekend. 6 races and 6 podiums for her and ..read more

Factory Supercross global weekend effort went down this past weekend and the team was literally all over the place! The bulk of the team was at the USABMX HQ in Tulsa for the Legacy national paired with the USAC national championship as well. The coveted patriotic sleeves were up for grabs and the UCI classes were similar to our featured hubs; you could say they had a killer buzz in the air. Gaige Gomolicke went 2 for 3 over the weekend grabbing 2 big wins and then made the SuperX main and has shown his comfort on the big hill.
Joining Gaige on the big hill was Josh White who would also make ..read more

Rock Hill South Carolina is known for a few things like tasty bbq, civil war history, and as of late an absolutely stellar BMX facility. Sports tourism has been good to the city and its attracted many a new residents to put down roots and call Rock Hill home.
Several years back everyone's favorite Supercross factory star KJ Romero you could say fate or even destiny brought both him and his family to this gem of an area. He has been a staple around the local track and if you know KJ he is a likeable guy once you get past the mustache! We have all been there as riders when the national comes to ..read more
