Last week, Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, claimed in a paywalled post on X, previously Twitter, that the 12.9-inch iPad Air will be using mini-LED displays. These were supposedly leftovers from the larger iPad Pro models, as some of them will be making use of OLED display tech instead.
