Hi everyone: A quick introduction. I got into RC airplanes when I was in the the army back in the 80's. I was stationed at Ft. Eustis in Virginia for AIT and they had a modelers club area and so it began. Continued flying and building when relocated to Germany. Left the military and went to college, built a career, got married, had children and all the rest. Fast forward to this January and I have retired. There is a flying field just a few miles from my house and recently stopped in to introduce myself. Long story short, getting back into RC after a 35 year break and man, what a difference ou ..read more

Need some help with 12FGA. I'm trying to program a throttle (master) elevator (slave) mix for IMAC condition only. I'm unable to isolate it so it only mixes in the " IMAC" switch position. I don't want it activated in the "Landing" condition position. It's on switch SD. Top switch position is not assigned to anything. Middle position is "IMAC" and bottom position is" landing", Thanks in advance for your continued help. Regards, Tom ..read more

Any mono line flyers out there ? I'm interested in this , but I don't have a good understanding of it . I have seen the Stanzel units , although I'm more interested in the torque tube types . Mainly I don't see how the control line attaches to the torque tube unit . Also does anyone know how to get in touch with a guy called the "Speed Hippy" from the Flight Lines page ? Thanks , Mark . I turned an HPI RS4 Sport 3 into a formidable rally car (so you don't have to)

Video You Tube Intro The primary purpose of this post is that, against my better judgement, I converted this on-road 1/10th touring car platform into a formidable mixed-surface demon, which I wanted to share with the community. While the end result turned out great, it's been one heck of a journey, and I can't in all honesty recommend it for a beginner. There is not great parts support to begin with, but I think an even bigger challenge was simply that there is not a lot of institutional knowledge out there online about this particular platform-- what aftermarket parts are and are not compat ..read more

Hello. I have a new to me turbine that is supposed to have less than 5 min run time. I want to check this but the GSU will turn on and display screens but will not give any info. The Lines are black and show no info. I have sent KT an email explaining this and they replied the same day asking for photos which I sent within 10min. One full day later and still no answer, so I'm posting here. Also when it attempts to connect to the ECU I get WAITING 1% and does nothing. I see it says lower trim to zero but throttle and trim are down. I have a 5cell nimh battery powering the Rx with 6.9v and a Li ..read more
