Tesla Sweden has mostly stayed quiet during trade union IF Metall’s strike. That is, at least, until recently, when Tesla Sweden Market Lead Jens Stark spoke with Dagens Industri about the electric vehicle maker’s current operations and the effects of IF Metall’s ongoing strike.  While some media reports have framed a narrative that is mostly centered on IF Metall’s talking points in the conflict, Stark noted that Tesla is working very closely with its employees. And so far, the Tesla Market Lead noted that the electric vehicle maker’s employees are operating as one strong team ..read more

Tesla Giga Berlin bounced back from an alleged arson attack seemingly stronger and better than ever. This was mentioned by CEO Elon Musk during his visit to the facility last week, when he noted that Tesla will not be stopped. Seemingly highlighting this idea, Tesla Giga Berlin recently welcomed the company’s toughest vehicle to date — the Cybertruck, which has arrived in Europe for the first time.  Photos uploaded by Tesla employees and other EV enthusiasts on LinkedIn show that a Cybertruck was unboxed at Giga Berlin. The interest from the facility’s employees was palpable in the images ..read more

Tesla flexes Model Y achievements with Cybertruck in rolling advertisement

Tesla is using the Cybertruck to help flex the achievements of the Model Y in a towing advertisement campaign. The Cybertruck is pulling a Model Y encased in a glass box with the words “The Best-Selling Car in the World is Made in America” boldly displayed on the side. The strategy is one of the most logical and ideal for a company like Tesla, which has dipped its toe into advertising efforts over the past few years. Combining the world’s most polarizing and perhaps the most spoken of vehicle in the world in the Cybertruck, with the flex of having the best-selling car in the world in the Model ..read more

In 2022, Rivian stopped producing R1T units with the powered tonneau cover, though the company has talked about bringing it back for much of that time. In October, reports said that the upgraded powered tonneau cover had passed field tests, and now the electric pickup-maker is set to re-launch the feature this year. On Saturday, Rivian posted on X that the powered tonneau cover is now available on select R1T configurations for $500 in its Gear Shop, additionally posting a ..read more

Tesla analyst counters bear narrative with new note looking at the big picture
Teslarati.com
by Joey Klender

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) has been the subject of several bearish narratives this week in analyst notes. However, Adam Jonas of Morgan Stanley countered those notes with a new communication to investors late this week that looks at the big picture. Of the three analyst notes we’ve covered this week, two have described lackluster outlooks for Tesla’s future. As demand begins to slightly reduce in speed and Tesla gears up for a “notably lower” growth phase due to its focus on the next-generation platform, which will be released next year, analysts are concerned about the stock’s future. However, not ..read more

Tesla is no longer just a luxury brand, says major auto outlet

by Zachary Visconti

One major automotive outlet says Tesla is no longer just a luxury brand, in part due to its unique pricing strategy over the past few years. In a column shared on Friday, Automotive News Executive Editor Jamie Butters laid out an update to a 2022 piece that had initially called Tesla a luxury brand. Now, he says, the automaker is more than a luxury brand, generally competing in a lower-priced market than back then—and especially as the Model Y seemingly became the world’s best-selling model last year. In part, Butters notes, the shift from being a luxury brand to a household name comes from Te ..read more
