As seen by the header to this update, an old friend* has reappeared on our radar! But what could be new this week? Welcome to another edition of the Subject Matter Games Friday Update, where we look at some of the work done in the last week on our game development projects. This week a new enemy enters There Are 200, ready to zap anything in it’s way! Welcome to another Friday Update post here at Subject Matter. Work still continues on our abstract shooter There Are 200, but work was slowed this week due to a ‘new addition’ at the ‘studio’. Another week behind us and even more work completed on There Are 200. Some of the work here is behind the scenes while some of it is… in front of the scenes? To the side of the scenes? Here’s a scene of There Are 200 gameplay: Wipe On, Wipe Off In the background there’s a new wiper system that cleans the arena of any dead pixel bodies. The first major post-launch content release of downloadable content (DLC) is here! The Sports pack adds 4 new playable characters each with their own unique sports-themed biome that is unlocked with the character. Woody comes with the American Football biome, filled will kicking tees and dangerous tacklers that chase if you get too close.
