I've been running some Facebook ads for the past week and made one sale. Ads are running in North America and Europe. I decided to try a free trial of the Browsee app, to capture screen recordings and heatmaps of visitor sessions. Most of the visitors I've seen so far are people going to the landing page and not doing anything - no scrolling and very little clicking (mostly from Europe). I saw one visitor error on Browsee that said load time was long, but the rest didn't have any errors. I noticed a few visitors trying to copy stuff on my page (I've disabled right-click and shortcuts). But wh ..read more

Two markets with unique inventory and 3PLs. What a headache!

I own a small business that currently operates in the European market but I'm expanding to the US soon. Each continent produces, warehouses, and sells products independently. My original idea was to have the customer simply go to my website, choose their region, and be directed to either the US domain or the EU subdomain. On the backend it would be 2 different Shopify stores to make all the inventory/warehousing stuff super clean. I just learned that isn't possible if I want to keep the same .com. I'll have to either give one of the shops a new domain (bad for SEO) or manage it all under the ..read more

Products not appearing in categories

Just got all my categories set up. Been adding products and realized only 2 of 7 products were showing up in a category. Went in bulk edit and messed with the tags. Got 4 of the 7 to appear, but thats as far as I can get. Even the page says 4 of 7 products. I swear I've checked everything: active, inventory, markets, sales channels, tags...all several times. I'm at my whites end. Any Shopify wizards have any suggestions, please? submitted by /u/Tao_of_Nerd [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Looking for Good Solution to Post Manuals and Driver Downloads

I'm in the middle of migrating my store which sells tech and electronics products. For many products, we have a product manual, demo software, or other downloadable asset. I've explored options including: * Uploading files to the files section and linking to them * Using an app like Easify Product Attachments I've also thought about posting supporting docs as blog posts and then using an app or linking to them from the product. But I do want to be able to globally update the display of these links later on. I'm willing to pay for the right solution, but interested in what others are using in ..read more

Pre-order app

Hi guys, I own a small collectibles toy shop, funkos, action figures, Pokémon and the such. I’ve been “half” doing pre-orders on shopify but it’s causing a few issues with delivery dates etc. I need to look for a better app for pre-orders but the ones I found don’t seem all that. My website is https://geekpeek.co.uk and you will be able to see what I’ve been doing for pre-orders and if anyone has any ideas for an app or a dev that can custom build this function Id be happy to pay. Thank you! submitted by /u/Astro-Richard-23 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
