About the book:
I am still that child is a gallery of poems on grief, heartache, and love. The author is inspired by nature, faith, and the trials of life that she has faced. She speaks of love as she speaks of the changing seasons. Constant, unstoppable and with nuance each day.
Esther draws a picture with her words in a landscape of different characters mixed with personal stories and experiences. Her adoration for writing began at a young age when she confided in lyrics of her favorite songs and fell in love with the rhythm that poetry makes.
This is a beautiful book of poetry. The ..read more

January: A man walking along Caledonian Road falls over onto the huge roll of bubble wrap he is hugging, perhaps for just this sort of situation.
Inspired by her popular Twitter account, The Year I Stopped to Notice brings together Miranda Keeling's observations of the magic, humour, strangeness and beauty in ordinary life. I have stacks of books in my TBR and choosing one to read is often a daunting task. So, enter my book jar. On each little piece of paper is a book that I have in my possession or I have marked on Spotify. I am not including ebooks, because there are too many in my Kindle and I don't love reading ebooks anyway. I much prefer print.
They are not color-coded, but they cover fiction, non-fiction, politics, and autobiography.
There are 68 in this jar right now.
Shall we see what happens next?
I will mark future reviews that come from this little jar of motivation!
