The Women’s Tour’s crowdfunding campaign, launched to raise vital funds ahead of this June’s race, has today passed £10,000! We’ve been blown away by the generosity of race fans since the campaign was launched on Thursday (16 March) – a huge thank you to everybody who has contributed so far. Women’s Tour fans will be able to get closer to the UK’s leading UCI Women’s WorldTour event than ever before in 2023 thanks to a new crowdfunding initiative launched today. Fans can show their support for this year’s event, which is set to start in Warwickshire on Wednesday 7 June and culminate in the heart of Birmingham five stages later, by donating as little as £5. Two-time Women’s Tour champion Lizzie Deignan has declared her support for the UK’s most prestigious cycle race as it continues to seek crucial funding for the 2023 event. Stage two of this year’s race will start from Derngate in the town centre on Thursday 8 June, just as it did on its last visit in 2016.
