The Women’s Tour’s crowdfunding campaign, launched to raise vital funds ahead of this June’s race, has today passed £10,000!
We’ve been blown away by the generosity of race fans since the campaign was launched on Thursday (16 March) – a huge thank you to everybody who has contributed so far.
However, we still need your support to help make sure this year’s event happens.

Women’s Tour fans will be able to get closer to the UK’s leading UCI Women’s WorldTour event than ever before in 2023 thanks to a new crowdfunding initiative launched today.
Fans can show their support for this year’s event, which is set to start in Warwickshire on Wednesday 7 June and culminate in the heart of Birmingham five stages later, by donating as little as £5. Anybody who contributes will have their name included on a special heroes’ wall that will be on display at each stage start and finish at the 2023 race, as well as printed in the official race roadbook. Two-time Women’s Tour champion Lizzie Deignan has declared her support for the UK’s most prestigious cycle race as it continues to seek crucial funding for the 2023 event.
Speaking to PA news agency, the Trek – Segafredo rider described how she hopes the planned ninth edition of the award-winning UCI Women’s WorldTour event takes place in June.

Two weeks on from hosting what promises to be an unforgettable stage of the Women’s Tour, Redcar & Cleveland will provide the backdrop for this year’s British national road championships.
British Cycling have today released details of this year’s championships (Wednesday 21 – Sunday 25 June) which, together with stage three of the UK’s leading women’s cycle race finishing in Guisborough on Friday 9 June, will create a memorable year of cycling in the region.

Nearly a year on from hosting an unforgettable Commonwealth Games, Birmingham will again welcome world-class sport when the final stage of the Women’s Tour cycle race heads to the second city this June.

The Women’s Tour, the UK’s leading international women’s cycling event, will return to Northampton in June following a seven-year absence.
Stage two of this year’s race will start from Derngate in the town centre on Thursday 8 June, just as it did on its last visit in 2016.
Northampton is forever linked to the race having hosted the event’s first-ever stage finish in 2014. This year’s inclusion on the route comes during the most southerly day of the 2023 race, with stage two set to finish in the Central Bedfordshire town of Ampthill.

The Women’s Tour, the UK’s leading international women’s cycle race, will become the biggest sporting event ever to visit Ampthill when the free-to-attend spectacle heads there in June.
Stage two of this year’s race will finish in the Central Bedfordshire town on Thursday 8 June, making it the most southern host venue in this year’s five-day event.
