London Orienteering Klubb organised a great event in Kingsbury. Results are on their website: results. It was very high scoring event, with Simon Wright getting a whopping 850 points. Series results after race 5 is now available. Simon leads the series for the first time and Eleanor Broughton still leading woman. Plenty can change in the series as it’s the best five scores to count. The next Street-O event is Tuesday 12th March around West Hampstead. The 2023-24 Street-O series is over half way now. The next race will be held in West Hampstead, thanks to Todd and Tessa. Like all Street-Os, it’ll be a lot of fun and a great way to explore the local area. The fourth race of South London Orienteers’ 2023-2024 night series takes place on Wimbledon Common South-West London, on Tuesday 27th February 2024 Race Centre The race will be based at The Crooked Billet, SW19 4RQ. “Brush off the cobwebs, reset your compass and come to Richmond Park for some training. Maps provided, but no control kites (we’ll be using MapRun). Friendly but competitive. Tips, help and a shorter course for newcomers. Longer course for more experienced orienteers. Stick around for cake and chat.” All club members are welcome.
