Over 100 people turned up to the Wandsworth Street-O. It was a fantastic event and there was a great buzz in the pub afterwards. Rebecca planned a tricky course making the most of the railway lines and hills. The hills seemed to catch people out with approximately 30% of people were late back! Thank you to Todd and Tessa for planning and organising the event and to all the on-the-day helpers who made it happen. The event gave made great use of the hills to the north and brought us around some lovely houses. The venue Bohemia House was a good choice with lots of space to spread out in. The penultimate race of the 2023-24 Street-O series will be held in Wandsworth, organised by Rebecca. The format is a 1 hour time limit to find as many checkpoints as you can. It is a great way to explore the local area. If you plan on coming, please fill in the Google Form. Race HQ Our venue is Brewer’s Inn, a Young’s pub with lots of space. Note that we use the BMBO scoring scheme (graduated penalties) which is reflected in the SLOW and BMBO results but not in the MapRun app (shows 1 point per minute late). London Orienteering Klubb organised a great event in Kingsbury. Results are on their website: results. It was very high scoring event, with Simon Wright getting a whopping 850 points. Series results after race 5 is now available. Simon leads the series for the first time and Eleanor Broughton still leading woman.
