This question if for anyone that has used the atropine drops for their kids. My son is 13. We tried to get contacts this year ( apparently they can help slow down the progression) but he was not for it and couldn’t get them in his eyes. The Dr explained they have eye drops that can help. Hello, I'm 18 F. Recently went for my regular ophthalmology checkup and my dioptery went from -3 to -4.5 in the span of 3 years. I just had a chat with a friend whose dioptery is currently -6 (entering strong myopia phase I guess?) and we shared our worries that we could go blind with age. My ophthalmologist told me that myopia usually becomes stable around my age.
