Hey everyone, I haven’t ridden in about 11 years now and the last bike I was on was a 2011 kx450. So with 10+ years of technology now, has anyone with a newer mx bike ridden one of the newer enduro style bikes? Like a WR450f, CRF450x, 450exc-f/450xcw-f? So full headlight enduro class, not the cross country bikes like a yz450fx, crf450rx, 450xc-f etc etc. Do the enduro bikes still have that snappy quick power like the mx bikes have or would you feel like you’re lacking power on them in open desert/dunes racing?

I’m 17 and I’ve gotten a lot faster since a few years ago, I’m about as fast as some of the local pros and faster than a couple. but is it too late to actually make something out of it?

Hey guys I’m considering upgrading from my 125 I’ve had for the past 5 years. As much as I like this bike I’ve just became too heavy for it as I got older. I’m considering either picking up a yz/kx250f (2016+) or a yz250 two stroke. I’m 6’2 and 190 pounds for reference. I ride 85% trails and the rest of the time in fields or sand tracks.
What do you guys think would be a better option as an upgrade? I don’t want a 450, they’re too heavy and too much bike for the type of riding I do. I love my two stroke but I also really enjoy riding 250f due to them having enough torque in the rev range to c ..read more
