The stunning new truck is equipped with I-Shift Dual Clutch transmission and numerous creature comforts to maximise driving experience and fuel efficiency.

Alan Davie Ltd has just added a pair of Iveco S-Way 530 6×2 tractor units to its fleet, supplied by family-run dealer AM Phillip.
Iveco vehicles have been a staple of the fleet over the years, with the iconic TurboStar being a firm favourite with the company founder in the early years.

Volvo Trucks has launched the new FH Aero, featuring a longer and more aerodynamic cab with digital mirrors and a new top-power 780 bhp engine.
This means the FH16 Aero version is now the most powerful truck currently in series production, stealing back the crown from arch-rival Scania’s 770 bhp R- and S-series.

There are calls for HGV bosses to up driver’s wages as the government announces an increase to the National Living Wage by nearly 10% in a few weeks’ time.
SNAP recently said the industry is experiencing a ‘tipping point’ with a lack of drivers to keep up with increased demand and noted the biggest reason for the lack of drivers is due to poor salaries.

Volvo Trucks has become the first truck manufacturer in the UK to have four different models of low-emission vehicle approved for the government’s plug-in grant of up to £25,000 on new registrations.
This follows approval of the FH Electric and FM Electric, both as 4×2 tractor units and with the maximum six batteries. The FM Electric can even be specified to meet the three-star Direct Vision Standard for city use, Volvo said.
Both models join the FL Electric 4×2 rigid and the FE Electric 6×2 rigid, which have already been approved for the plug-in grant.

Stratford-based sports equipment supplier Mark Harrod Ltd has added a new silver Mercedes-Benz Actros L 18-tonne curtainsider to its fleet.
The 1833 model is equipped with BigSpace cab and is powered by a 10.7-litre engine rated at 326 bhp. Its body was fabricated by Commercial Body Specialists of Stoke-on-Trent.
It joins a small fleet that also includes another Actros 18-tonne curtainsider, a pair of Merc Sprinter chassis cabs with platform bodies, and three Sprinter vans.

Iveco has launched a new DRIVEAWAY bodybuilder programme to deliver X-Way 8×4 tippers in a matter of weeks.
Customers have a choice of stock X-Way tippers and tipper grabs, with bodies built by tipper manufacturer Thompsons UK.
The tippers will have a single-skinned Loadmasterlite body with front-end tipping gear, air-operated auto locking tailgate and loadcells, while the tipper grab is equipped with an Epsilon M125 Classic crane with double-skinned Loadmaster body and air operated auto locking tailgate.
