With the first stretch of 2024 behind them, a trio of Mizuno’s rising UK-based tour talent took the opportunity to drop into the Tour Studio at Bearwood Lakes GC.  With the workshop at its Bearwood Lakes home and all three players with a bank of tournament play behind them, May was an ideal opportunity to take stock of their equipment.  Mizuno’s Joe Beck commented; Its a lot easier to assess how a players equipment is bedding in after a run of tournaments.  The favourite clubs are well extablished and the gaps, uncomfortable parts have revealed themselves under tournament press ..read more

In October 2023, Mizuno gathered its leading US-based tour players to check over its new Mizuno Pro irons. The intention was to demonstrate how well the new Mizuno Pro 243 and 245 could perform in an elite player’s hands. We didn’t expect long-time muscle back player Luke Donald to switch as quickly as he did to a full set of the 245s. The Mizuno Pro 245 irons have been one of Mizuno’s surprises of 2024 – improving on the Mizuno Pro 225, itself an award-winning iron.  Gaining awards and accolades from the most respected testers in the industry – including Golf Digest, Golf WRX, MyGolfSpy ..read more

Steven Fisk confirmed himself as Mizuno’s player to watch for 2024 at the Korn Ferry’s LECOM Suncoast Classic, finishing T2 after a three-man play-off. A win at the Lakewood National Golf Club’s Commander course would have secured back-to-back Korn Ferry titles for Fisk. Fisk finished (-20), and a final round 68 meant the in-form Fisk has now recorded 10 consecutive sub-par rounds, moving him to 3rd on the 2024 Season Points table. At the end of the season, the top 30 players on Korn Ferry will earn their PGA Tour cards for 2025. Fisk is following in the footsteps of Grayson Murray ..read more

Mizuno’s Bailey Tardy opened her LPGA winners account with an impressive victory at the 2024 Blue Bay in Hainan Island, China.  Five birdies over the closing eight holes demonstrated Tardy’s confidence  – closing at 15 under and breaking the 72-hole scoring record by a total of 6 shots.  Tardy is in just her 2nd season on the LPGA Tour, but leading the 2023 Women’s US Open after three rounds at Pebble Beach was a sign of immense promise from the rookie. I got off to a little slow start on the front nine, and then just really stayed patient out there. I can’t say that I woke up ..read more
