I’m currently working in law enforcement, but am looking at a major relocation to a much more competitive state in the future, and decided I had best earn my BS rather than just hope my AS would be enough to get me by. ———> How can I effectively learn more about law enforcement, corrections, and the courts, on my own? What are some CJS-related topics, concepts, etc I should know, say, if I want to apply to a police department (not just to be an officer), or corrections-related job? <——— I am about to graduate with an associates in Criminal Justice. I decided not to transfer to another college this coming spring, just so I can work to pay off a small school loan. There’s more to my situation, but it’s (mostly) irrelevant. My plight is that I feel like I barely began understanding CJS, and don’t know wh ..read more
