[Cancelled] Cryptic's Marvel Universe Online Teaser trailer (youtube.com)
This one would eventually become Champions Online. One can tell, because CO has a lot of Marvel inspired costumes. You can literally create any Marvel Hero, but I digress.........
Anyone else find it weird that they did not cash in on a true Marvel MMO during the MMO craze which coincided with the MCU craze? Marvel Heroes was solid but talking about a MMORPG perhaps.......Or a character creation MMO title.

If you're curious about Ashes of Creation, already a fan, or just having a slow Friday and need something to keep you busy at work, there's going to be an Ashes of Creation AMA with the Creative Director in 30 mins at 2 pm EDT/11 am PDT/7 pm BST.
Vlahdus, NyceGaming, LoreForged, and Jamie Kaos will be asking a wide variety of questions. And historically Steven is very open in these AMA's and has a lot of good info to share, so if you have questions I suggest tuning in.
It'll be on Ashes of Creation's Twitch channel here - https://www.twitch.tv/ashesofcreation

I'm a huge DC Comics fan but this MMO based on that universe never fully pulled me in. But I'm kind of missing it and am tempted to reinstall it on my computer and give it another chance. Primarily because I just like DC.
But how is the game these days? Does it have a fairly active community? Is it relatively easy to level up and get decent gear? How are the stories? I don't expect it to be like FFXIV, LOTRO or SWTOR in terms of story, but I don't want it to be completely braindead either.
Thinking about jumping back in this weekend.

I have been jumping from one MMO to the next and just passing the time for the next "big" thing i guess.
Seeing alot of MMOs, newer and older don't have a huge influx of new players due to the spread of the playerbase among all the games out there. I was thinking of getting a group/community if interested to go on and start on MMOs brand new and adventure through the game trying and enjoying the games together rather just soloing and not seeing much action in the massive sense.
Idea would be community selects a particular game to play and start date and we all go and play for a set time befor ..read more

I made the noob failure of commenting that the mmorpg’s we have an option for are all 20 year old games that just happen to have a stranglehold on the market. There used to be mention of a wow killer for ages. Now that we are all waiting for Thrones of Liberty, I thought I’d have a thread with our ideas (at least mine)
All is quiet. The stealth ? group has prepared a path after scouts risked their lives searching for this hideout. The caves seem to go on forever and it would be easy to get lost, starve, die, and suffer a huge penalty in all the twists and turns. There are strange plants all a ..read more

I'm sure questions like these are asked a lot in this sub but whenever I look at old post I find lists with dozens of suggestions, and I get easily stunlocked by too many choices.
I also do know what the big ones are but I find it kinda scary to jump in a 10+ yo game, dunno why, its probably irrational. So I would prefer a newer game or a good argument to play an old one.
