Looking for a group of people to play with

I've always struggled to find people to play with because none of my friends like RPGs and MMORPGs. I was wondering if there is a nice gaming group over here that I could join so we can play together different MMOs or cooperative games. I love RPGs, difficult, and progressive games, and I can get very engaged to them. However, during the last years I've been having a big issue getting engaged to games. Maybe because most of them are extremely trivial/boring before reaching the late game. But also because I usually jump alone to play them. I am 28, I currently live in Florida, USA, but I am fr ..read more

Struggling to leave a raid group or say goodbye?

You know how some people like to have entire fake scenes play out in their mind? Like waiting in line at a bank and fantasizing about stopping a robbery? Or coming up with witty comments spontaneously while showering, after a discussion is already over? I'm the same, just... "like all the other billion people who are just as special as you!" ... ... *cough* ... ... Anyway, YouTube recommended this video to me by "Josh Strife Says", who I've never seen before. But he made a good comment about this subreddit, the anxiety of people to quit MMORPGs and, more specifically, to leave raid groups beh ..read more

Many years ago I remember the days of playing Ultima Online for many sleepless nights. It was a one of a kind game for me and other games I jugjed by it. I have run across recently with Albion Online and played a bit on NA server and it got me hooked but since am a new player I was greatly surprised that a new EU server is coming in few days so will start fresh with it also together with other players. As am new to all this am still learning the ropes of it but surely hope I will bring more RL friends to it as one day might start a guild. Anyways what got me hooked is a similarity between tho ..read more

Josh Strife Hayes - Worst MMO Ever?

Just wondering if there are any mmos that you would like to see him do for this series that he hasnt done yet? Some that come to mind for me are: Eudemons Online. Shaiya Online. Kal Online. I noticed he hasn't posted a video for this series in about 2+ months. Maybe he's burned out? Maybe hes in the middle of a banger video and it will be released soon? Either way, the lack of videos recently for the series has made the question arise in my head for this subreddit. submitted by /u/xFalcade [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi what would be the best mmorpg to play for newer players, I’ve played a little of osrs and wow sod; I loved osrs just didn’t like that doing any dungeons or boss fights and pvp took forever. And then wow was a nice experience other then it felt playing solo was in possible any suggestions. submitted by /u/DaWombatSlayer [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

My Top-Five Takeaways From Upcoming MMO Age of Water.

Between Sea of Thieves, Raft, Dave the Diver, and (to a much lesser extent) Skull and Bones, it would seem gaming has entered an... an age of water, if you will. And if you won’t, tough tits, because on April 25th, action/adventure MMO Age of Water will release into Early Access in a fun if often frustrating state. (This review is available in video form on my profile.) Now, it’s always strange playtesting an MMO before it actually becomes an MMO by, you know, adding the “M’s.” So, I want to caveat this review with the fact that my thoughts on AoW are very much subject to change when the serv ..read more
