Hi, I'm Steph! Then mama of 4 super rad boys. Welcome to our little corner of the cyber world. While you're here, you'll probably find a lot of travel pics, Disney tips & posts, and some of my favorite things folded in with the realities of motherhood & life with boys. Parenting is tough but, there's one thing I've learned that's certain: The village still exists and..

When Thanksgiving rolls around each year, there is one dish everyone in our family expects to be in our spread: Sage Stuffing.from scratch (or for some, dressing). We lean more into “stuffing” rather than “dressing” – technicalities with the turkey are unnecessary in the name around here.

For years, I’ve worked to perfect this recipe with just enough moistness, a tad bit of crunch, and superior savory flavor. We spend all day in the kitchen breathing ..read more

Movie nights are one of our favorite things to do as a family. Once a month, we all sit together in one place to binge on pizza, popcorn, and screen time. With the release of Hocus Pocus 2, I was so excited to celebrate this movie night with a Hocus Pocus party! The cool weather rolled in so we were even able to pull out our projector and smell the woodsy aromas of bonfire out on our patio.

These DIY Halloween book marks will be a GO-TO for my kids this season! In our house, reading isn’t just strictly done at home! The boys read in the car, at restaurants, on field trips, everywhere and anywhere! (My oldest recently told me he wished they made books water proof so he could read in the shower!, no lie.) They’re always looking for new book marks to keep their place when they read on-the-go and I thought it would be super fun for them to help me DIY Halloween book marks that will coordinate with their seasonal books!

Linc is without a doubt the kid in our home who loves emergency vehicles more than any other. When it came time to pick a party theme for his 5th birthday, there was no denying that he’d have the most epic DIY Fire Truck themed party that I could possibly manage.
As I said in my Modern Mickey Mouse birthday party post, my favorite thing about planning the boys’ parties is the customization that goes into making each party special and one-of-a-kind for our boys.

One of my most asked questions on social is how we organize our homeschooling spaces, especially our homeschool art cart. I’m an organizer by nature so, when I see a new bin with sleek lines & handles or a plastic lazy susan out in the wild, chances are, I’m adding to cart.

It’s July 30 and I’m writing this post with a First Day of School countdown hanging on my fridge. To celebrate, as I always do, I’ve gathered some of my favorite back to school finds for the boys to give them in a back to school basket with these printable school pennant flags!
If you were to ask me what my favorite season is, I’d probably tell you that Back to School sits at a very close tie with Christmas. While our boys don’t physically go “back” to school, all of my final planning, gathering, list making, and stocking up happens for our entire school year in this season. It’s high stress ..read more

We officially have a tween in our house this Easter. Which means I’ve been on the hunt for tween boy Easter basket ideas. I’ve quickly realized that the older kids get, the more practical and expensive their gifts can get. I don’t hate it because I’d much rather them own something they can use in their every day life over candy. It’s exciting to enter this stage of motherhood where you’re able to truly get a glimpse of the kind of teenager you’re soon to have. To be honest, 10 years is my favorite age for our oldest. He’s becoming who he wants to be and enjoys experimenting with his independen ..read more

As a great start to the week, I create a healthy kids snack board for our boys on Mondays! Sometimes I do a lunch board, other times breakfast but, mostly a variety of snacks and fun things they can pick from throughout the day. They love the variety and I’m grateful to say that nothing gets wasted. This week, I thought it would be exciting to put a fun twist on the good old PB&J. I’ve put together a deconstructed PB&J snack board and it’s all things delicious and nostalgic on one plate.
This board’s highlight: DIY PB&J sandwiches the boys could create for themselves. They loved th ..read more

For years I struggled with Easter morning. From how much candy I’d let my kids consume at our neighborhood egg hunt, to what I would stuff into our Easter eggs last minute, I never had my -ish together. Stuffing peeps into plastic eggs 10 minutes before the Easter Bunny’s wake-up call, seemed to become a tradition. Easter egg fillers were always last on my list and stuffing eggs were traditionally a last-minute event. I hated the crash the boys would have from the sugar so, a few years ago, I took the time to plan out and execute a better Easter plan. It was important to me to choose Easter eg ..read more

If you’ve been keeping up with our stories on Instagram, you may have seen that I’ve been creating a weekly DIY Sensory Kit for our little boys. I really needed something that would hold their attention for a long period of time while the big boys do their morning school work. The boys have loved waking up on Monday mornings with a new them for their kit. It brings them so much joy and keeps them busy exploring and tinkering for hours. The DIY St. Patrick’s Day sensory kit is a perfect way to introduce the holiday to little ones with tactile play. The rainbow rice is my favorite to this b ..read more
