Okay so this new bar that I work at batches their sangria with sprite already in it & keeps them in containers in the fridge. Batching sangria is no problem & in fact most places I've worked at batch their sangria HOWEVER... to put the sprite in the batch & let it lose the carbonation seems bizarre. It's not like we're making new batches every day it sits in there for days on end. Every time I've had batched sangria we just pour it into a wine glass with ice & top with sprite/soda water.
